Q: Do I need to be a builder to be able to own and run model boats?

A: No, there are ready to run boats (RTR) on the market that not only look great but they also run well.  These models are ready to go out of the box and usually all you need to add is batteries and a charger.

Q: Do I have to be a member of the Empire State Model Mariners to come to the lake and run my boat with the club?


A: Absolutely not. In fact we encourage you to come join us at the lake or any of our events.  Don't feel like your model is not good enough, or even if you are having problems with your model, just meet us at the lake and our members will be more than happy to give you assistance.
